How it works

From a raw idea
to a finished project.

NeuralTask™ is an AI productivity app for iPhone and iPad that takes an unstructured intention and turns it into a plan that is already scheduled in your calendar, already sized to the time you really have, and already able to rebuild itself when your day changes.

The short version

  1. Describe what you wantWrite it the way it comes out: "I want to build an app", "I want to get back in shape". No template, no fields, no structure.
  2. The AI builds the projectNeuralTask generates macro tasks, subtasks, time estimates, difficulty and category for the whole project.
  3. Everything gets scheduledThe app reads Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders to find the windows that are genuinely free, and fits each task into one of them.
  4. The system adaptsMissed a task, got a new meeting, woke up tired? The remaining plan is rebuilt around your real day.

What the AI actually produces

When you write an intention, you do not get a summary back — you get a structured project. For every item NeuralTask generates a time estimate, a difficulty level and a category, and it breaks large goals into subtasks small enough to start.

That breakdown is what makes the difference between a to-do list and an execution system. "Launch a personal finance app in three months" is not actionable. "Define the data model, today, 2 hours" is.

Output

Projects, not notes

Macro tasks, subtasks and milestones with real estimates attached.

Output

Sized to your day

Each task carries the time it needs, so it can be matched to a window that can hold it.

Output

Ready to start

Every task has a "start now" action and, where useful, a coaching conversation.

How scheduling really works

Most task managers ask you to pick a slot. NeuralTask reads your Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders first, works out how much time you actually have, and then schedules only what fits. Free windows are surfaced inside the app, and scheduled tasks are written back so your calendar and your plan never contradict each other.

It also accounts for the parts of a day that are not work: appointments, commute and the time you need to leave to arrive on time. Notifications are contextual rather than scheduled spam.

The coach that acts, not just answers

NeuralCoach AI is not a generic chat window. It has your projects, your pattern of the week and your energy signals, and it can change the plan from the conversation. Tell it "I'm tired today" or "I have a free hour right now" and it moves work, reschedules and updates the calendar while you talk.

And it keeps working while you sleep

The overnight engine analyses how you actually executed during the day and reorganises what is left, so the plan you open in the morning already reflects yesterday's reality.

Personalisation, not labels

On first launch NeuralTask builds a productivity profile from two informational questionnaires: the WHO Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) and the Tuckman Procrastination Scale. The result changes how the app behaves — for example splitting work into 10–15 minute micro-steps when procrastination scores are high, or favouring shorter focused blocks for a multi-thread attention profile.

These are organisational signals only. NeuralTask is a productivity app, not a medical device, and it does not provide diagnoses.

Privacy and offline behaviour

The AI runs on the device. Planning, coaching and replanning keep working in airplane mode, and your tasks, projects and Coach conversations stay on your iPhone. Cloud AI exists but is optional and only used when you turn it on. NeuralCoin wallet records, purchase validation and AI quota are handled on our backend.

Questions about how it works

Does NeuralTask create the tasks or do I?

NeuralTask creates them. You write a free-text intention and the app generates the project structure. You can then edit, delete or add anything — the AI gives you a first draft you never had to build.

How does it decide when to schedule a task?

It reads your Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders to find the genuinely free windows in your day, then fits each task into a window that can actually contain it, avoiding overlaps.

What happens when I miss a task?

The plan is rebuilt. What is still relevant moves into the next available windows instead of piling up as an overdue list.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes — the AI model runs on the device, so planning and replanning keep working offline.

What is the productivity profile for?

Two informational questionnaires (ASRS-v1.1 and Tuckman) shape how tasks are split and scheduled. They are not a diagnosis and NeuralTask is not a medical device.
